First production campaign for NITRALZ® isobutyronitrile successfully completed
NITRALZ® One Source - INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS
With this motto in mind, Alzchem is constantly striving to expand its product portfolio in the field of nitriles and to develop new solutions together with customers. This summer, for example, after several years of market exploration and process modeling, the first production campaign for NITRALZ® isobutyronitrile was successfully carried out. Thanks to its high chemical purity, NITRALZ® isobutyronitrile can be used both as a raw material for active pharmaceutical ingredients for example for the anti-allergy drug fexofenadine in tablet form for the treatment of hay fever and urticaria, and as a solvent, and is now produced once a year in Trostberg. With demand-oriented packaging sizes, both small requirements in drums and large quantities via tank containers can be supplied. Following the successful launch, Alzchem intends to position itself as a reliable European source "Made in Germany" for NITRALZ® isobutyronitrile: With the forward-looking and Europe-focused design of the supply chain and with reliable plants at the highest technical level, the ability to supply is ensured even in times of crisis.
