Dicyandiamide condensates act as fixing agents and flocculation aids:

  • for contaminant treatment
  • for improvement in gluing with dispersion glues and in paper sizing with alkyl ketene dimers (AKD)
  • for reduction of chemical oxygen demand (COD)
  • for sieve conditioning
  • as a creping agent
