Alzchem celebrates the inauguration of the new training centre – an investment in the future at the Trostberg site
Trostberg, 29 October 2025 – The Alzchem Group inaugurated its new training centre for chemical professions at its Trostberg site yesterday with a festive ceremony. Around 60 invited guests from politics, business, education, and the Alzchem project team attended the event, which sent a strong signal for the future viability of the company and the region.
At the beginning, Andreas Niedermaier, CEO of Alzchem Group, warmly welcomed the guests and and spoke of a milestone set with the new training centre – a place for perspectives and innovation. A place that opens up new perspectives for young people and strengthens the innovative capacity of the company.
A symbolic highlight of the inauguration was the tree placed in front of the building. It represents growth, stability, and future – values that Alzchem aims to promote through its new training center. The actual planting of the tree by the apprentices is scheduled for a later date.
“We are not only creating modern learning and working conditions for our young talents, but we are also making a targeted investment in the skilled workforce of tomorrow,” emphasized Andreas Niedermaier.
CEO Andreas Niedermaier, praised in his welcoming addresses the successful implementation of the project, which began with the official groundbreaking ceremony on 7 October 2024.
Andreas Danzer, District Administrator of Traunstein, emphasised: ‘With the new training centre, Alzchem is sending a strong signal for the future of our business location. Investing in training is the best investment in sustainable success – for the company, for Trostberg and for the entire district of Traunstein.’
The third mayor of Trostberg, Dominic Geiger, also highlighted the importance of the project for the region: “The training centre is a strong signal of Alzchem’s commitment to Trostberg and an important contribution to securing the quality of training and future prospects for young people in our city.”
The new training centre offers state-of-the-art facilities for hands-on training in various professional fields and sustainably strengthens the competitiveness of Alzchem Group: modern laboratories, practical training workshops, and an inspiring environment for young talent. With the inauguration, the company is sending a clear signal for the future: the importance of training and the promotion of young talent in a changing world of work.
