Invest, engage, do good: Alzchem share program generates €1,425 for the kindergarten

Trostberg, June 14, 2026 – Sometimes the best ideas emerge where economic commitment and social responsibility go hand in hand. A great example of this was recently demonstrated by Alzchem Group and Kreissparkasse Traunstein-Trostberg: together, they ensured that even the youngest members of the region benefit. As part of the Alzchem employee share ownership program, the local savings bank initiated a donation of five euros to the AWO daycare center “Alzstadt-Kinder” for each newly opened securities account.

The result is impressive: A total of 1,425 euros was raised, which was officially presented in the form of a donation check.

At the donation handover, Roger Pawellek, CEO of Kreissparkasse Traunstein-Trostberg, Sonja von Rosen, Head of the Daycare Division of the AWO district association as the operator of the kindergarten, Danijela Durin, Director of Alzstadt-Kinder, and Alzchem spokesperson Sabine Sieber were present.

The substantial donation clearly demonstrates how well the share ownership program has been received by Alzchem employees and reflects the strong confidence in their company. At the same time, the initiative makes a valuable contribution to the local community.

“Benefiting from your own shares while also doing something good for children – if that’s not a perfect match,” was the shared sentiment among all those involved.

The donation will be used in the kindergarten to support additional activities and improvements in everyday operations – helping to create even more opportunities for play, learning, and development. An all-round success that brings together commitment, community, and responsibility – in line with the spirit of a strong region.
