Trostberg, June 21, 2026 – Following an extensive renovation, Alzchem Group has recently reopened its “Genusswerk” cafeteria at the Trostberg site. The company restaurant now features a modern, urban-inspired design, combining efficient functionality with the atmosphere of a stylish café. 

Bright materials, warm colors, clean lines, improved acoustics, and an open layout define the new look. With a variety of seating and lounge areas, the redesigned space feels more like a chic café in a major city than a traditional company canteen – a place designed for relaxation and a deliberate counterpoint to the workday. 

Flexible and Cashless Use 

Alongside the visual redesign, workflows have been significantly improved. Shorter routes and direct payment at the food counters increase efficiency in day-to-day operations. The payment system has been fully converted to cashless transactions via employee ID cards, with on-site top-up facilities available. 

The culinary offering has also been expanded: In addition to lunch options, “Genusswerk” now provides continuous catering from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A key feature is the newly introduced café corner, offering breakfast options, snacks, and afternoon treats. 

The new company restaurant can also be used for meetings, quick alignments, or informal discussions. In addition, a dedicated area has been equipped to support focused work—providing a practical solution for colleagues visiting from other sites who require a temporary workspace. This transforms the restaurant into a modern workspace that combines collaboration, concentration, and flexibility. 

With this redesign, a space has been created that goes far beyond catering: “Genusswerk” serves as a meeting point, a place to retreat, and a communication hub—bringing a touch of urban lifestyle to the Trostberg site.
