Occupational Safety Is a Top Priority at Alzchem
Trostberg. The safety of employees is at the heart of Alzchem Group’s daily operations. As a responsible employer, the company is committed to safe working conditions, clear processes, and a strong safety awareness throughout everyday work.
A key element of Alzchem’s safety concept is regular training sessions and safety briefings. These ensure compliance with legal requirements, the early identification of risks, and the consistent application of safe working practices. New employees receive comprehensive training from the very beginning, while existing teams take part in regular refresher courses.
“For us, occupational safety is not a box‑ticking exercise, but a fundamental part of our corporate culture,” says Andreas Niedermaier, CEO of Alzchem Group. “Our goal is for all employees to be able to work safely and in good health every day. That is why we continuously invest in training, prevention, and clear structures.”
Regular risk assessments are conducted in accordance with the German Occupational Safety and Health Act. In addition, the entire workforce is involved in occupational safety through a formal Employee and Management Occupational Safety Committee. This is complemented by an OHRIS‑certified management system for health and safety, compliance with which is regularly reviewed through internal audits.
External partners are also integrated into the safety concept: numerous training sessions for contractors ensure that employees of external companies are familiar with and comply with the applicable safety standards at Alzchem’s production sites.
With this commitment, Alzchem Group underscores its aspiration to be a reliable and responsible employer that takes the safety and health of its employees seriously.
