Cleared for Take-off into the Future: 45 Apprentices Successfully Complete Their Training at Alzchem
On 23 April 2026, Alzchem Group bid farewell to 45 apprentices as they began their professional careers at a formal graduation ceremony. Among the graduates were 17 women and 28 men. In total, 29 were taken on by Alzchem, five by BASF, one by BAS Bavaria Alloys Systems GmbH, and two by Master Builders Solutions.
Alzchem Training Manager Christoph Huber welcomed the former apprentices: “The graduation ceremony shows what young people can achieve with commitment and perseverance. Today we celebrate the skilled professionals of tomorrow.”
Seven state awards from vocational schools and 20 scholarships from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) underline the high standard of training. In addition, 32 graduates shortened their training period and took their final exams early—another sign of their outstanding performance.
Alzchem CFO Andreas Lösler added: “With your training you have laid a strong foundation—one you can now build on. We are pleased if you continue to contribute your skills with us or at one of our partner companies, and we wish you every success and confidence as you take your next step.”
Works Council Chairman Christian Ortbauer said: “Today marks the end of an important chapter for you—and the beginning of a new one. I warmly congratulate you on your excellent final results. Make good use of the knowledge you have gained and the experience you have gathered during your apprenticeship, stay curious, contribute your ideas, and continue on the path you have chosen. I wish you every joy and success along the way.”
Apprenticeship training is highly valued at the Trostberg Chemical Park and makes an important contribution to addressing the shortage of skilled workers. The following eight apprenticeship professions are offered at the Trostberg Chemical Park: chemical plant operator, chemical laboratory technician, electronics technician for industrial engineering, industrial mechanic, industrial clerk, IT specialist for system integration, technical product designer, and warehouse logistics specialist.
Alzchem currently employs 117 apprentices. On 1 September 2026, another 45 young people will start their apprenticeship training at Alzchem.
