Alzchem honored as “Mobility Champion” – Commitment to sustainable employee mobility recognized

Trostberg, July 29, 2026 – Choosing a bike instead of a car – and benefiting from it as well: for many Alzchem employees, this is an all-around attractive combination. As part of JobRad’s latest evaluation, the company was recently recognized as a “Mobility Champion.” The award is based on a key metric that reflects the ratio of employees eligible for JobRad to the number of newly concluded contracts in 2025. 

With this honor, Alzchem ranks among the companies that are particularly successful in motivating their employees to embrace sustainable mobility solutions and actively contribute to the transportation transition. The company bike leasing concept enables employees to use the bicycle or e-bike of their choice at attractive conditions, allowing them to travel in an environmentally friendly, healthy, and flexible way. 

The process is straightforward: through salary conversion in bike leasing, a portion of the employee’s cash salary is converted into a non-cash benefit. During the leasing period, employees forgo a small monthly amount corresponding to the leasing rate. In return, Alzchem provides them with a JobRad company bike for unrestricted business and private use. In addition to tax and social security savings, Alzchem also covers the costs of comprehensive insurance for the leased bicycles. 

Promoting climate-friendly mobility is firmly embedded in Alzchem’s ESG strategy (Environment, Social, Governance). In particular, increased use of JobRad contributes to reducing the company’s indirect CO₂ emissions within the “Environment” dimension.
