On June 8, the Association for Creatine Deficiency Syndromes (ACD) had organized a Walk for Strength in several places around the globe to raise attention for this rare but inborn disease! Patients with cerebral creatine deficiency syndromes (CCDS) are not capable of producing or transporting creatine in their body and suffer from severe mental and physical retardation.
Creatine supplementation is an important support in cases, when creatine cannot be produced in the body. This year, the Walk for Strength broke records! The ACD raised almost $20,000 that will help support patients and their families at the July 2020 Scientific and Family Symposium, in Park City, Utah.
AlzChem supported the Team Germany during their walk. We will continue!
