Growing interest at Composites Europe 2015

Once again AlzChem AG took part in the Composites Europe Messe in Stuttgart, the trade fair that is continuing to grow strongly, where it was represented at the joint stand of Bayern Innovativ. A strong team of 7 AlzChem employees held in-depth product discussions with customers and interested parties over the 3 days of the trade fair. Demand continued to be strong in the DYHARD® fluid products area, where very recently the manufacturers of CNG cylinders have also been showing a lively interest in these products.

1st Ceramics Japan

AlzChem AG is exhibiting at “1st CERAMICS JAPAN -Highly-functional Ceramics Expo” in Tokyo from April 6th -8th, 2016 at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan presenting its silicon nitride powders- Silzot®. The show will be held for the first time, providing a new business platform for advanced ceramics professionals who seek business opportunities and networks especially in Japan and Asia.


Ceramics Expo Cleveland, Ohio

AlzChem AG is exhibiting at this year’s Ceramics Expo in Cleveland, Ohio from April the 26th – 28th, presenting its silicon nitride powders- Silzot®.

This show is a dedicated marketplace for all raw materials, equipment, machinery and technology used within the ceramic manufacturing supply chain.


Vitafoods Europe 2016

AlzChem AG will exhibit at the tradeshow Vitafoods Europe 2016, which will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from May 10th to 12th.

Vitafoods Europe is the annual event where the entire nutraceutical supply chain does business and focuses on the industry's four key sectors ensuring that goals and objectives can be met from ingredient to shelf.


Calcium Cyanamide General/Effect

Up to what soil depth can calcium cyanamide hinder the growth of weeds?

The incompatible phase of calcium cyanamide acts only in the top 3 to 4 cm of the soil, affecting as a result most of the weeds that have germinated from seeds and even small weeds.
Weed seeds located at deeper levels, or weeds propagating by rhizoms, are not adequately sensitive.
