Dyhard® for powder coating
Powder coatings are made up of solid resins, pigments and fillers together with hardeners and accelerators. The raw powders are mixed, melted in an extruder and finally ground down. The homogeneous mixture is sprayed electrostatically onto conductive surfaces and then hardened in a furnace at temperatures in excess of 160°C. Powder coatings are very environmentally friendly because low amounts of waste occur and no solvents are used.
