AlzChem GmbH - die Welt der Spezialchemie

“We now have our first commercial order for CreAMINO^®!”, managing director Stefan Greger and CreAMINO^® project head Dr. Ulrike Braun and her team were pleased to report last week at AlzChem Trostberg GmbH. A customer in Europe tested CreAMINO^®, found the results excellent and convincing and even before the series of test was completed had placed an order for normal operation worth over € 100,000.

 

Since authorization in October 2009 deliveries to the market until then had been used for testing purposes at potential customers, the aim being to prove the effectiveness of the product under practice conditions. This was an outright success and AlzChem is expecting further orders from the market in the foreseeable future.

 

CreAMINO^®, also known in-house as GAA, is a classic example of AlzChem NCN chemistry. It is manufactured from cyanamide and glycine, and is chemically an intermediate of creatine. Creatine is produced in each body, and in this case is used as a feed additive for battery hens, with 600 grams being added per metric tonne of feed.

 

The first three metric tons were delivered in Trostberg last Tuesday.
