Weichselbaumer leads Chemicals & Applications business

Dr. Georg Weichselbaumer, 50, strengthens the management team of AlzChem AG as head of the Chemicals & Applications business, effective April 1.

 

He succeeds Dr. Georg Hellwig and will report to the management board of AlzChem AG. AlzChem director Stefan Greger comments: “We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Weichselbaumer on board. He has a great deal of experience and is an expert in marketing”.
 

AlzChem’s NCN chemistry stands for products with a typical nitrogen-carbon-nitrogen bond. A complete portfolio of these products was invented, designed and developed in Trostberg. The most import applications include agriculture (e.g. plant protection, growth regulation and multipurpose fertilizers), fine chemicals (e. g. pigments, pharmaceutical ingredients and synthetic components), industrial applications for plastics processing and nutrition (e.g. creatine). AlzChem’s New Business segment is dedicated to developing new applications, innovative products and formulations; the scope ranges from expanding existing products and technologies to stepping into completely new areas.
